Honda hiss system manual

The transponder sends a coded signal back through the receiver to the ICU.  · And it has the HISS System so i went to the Honda dealership and asked them to make me a new key. They said that its impossible as Honda made a system that was faultless. I would have to either contact the previous owner and ask if he had one, or get a complete brain including the ECU - £ New or £/£ 2ND Hand.  · Manula says To enable hiss flashing Turn ignition on, press select for more than 2 seconds and the hiss light should immediatley flash turn ign off and remove key. On my bike the hiss doesn't flash when going through this sequence. Also the manual doesn't seem to say how to turn it off so assume this is the same process again.

To make a duplicate key and register it with your HISS system, take the spare key, the key tag, and the motorcycle to your dealer. u Store the tag in a safe. I have followed the instructions in the manual but no luck. H.I.S.S. is the Honda Ignition Security System. Make sure that the H.I.S.S keys are not all on the same key ring when being programmed as this can confuse the system. Step 1: Cut a new key.
